Ah, promises, promises. I’m no longer making any in regards to DA because I apparently can’t keep them. DA doesn’t hold my interest like it once did. It’s not that I stopped loving looking at art, or drawing my own occasionally (at this time, very, VERY occasionally); I just got burnt out on it. I logged in about two days ago for the first time since last Christmas. Do I realize how ridiculous that is? Yes. (I had somewhere between 900-1200 deviations and messages. Whoa.) Do I think I can do better? Er, yea. But I don’t think I’ll ever be on here all day, every day like I used to. Maybe if I could get back into drawing then I’d want to be around art again, but as things are I just feel uninspired, untalented, and not particularly interested. Doubt many will read or comment on this since I’ve been gone so long (don't blame you), but if you do I appreciate it. I didn’t mean to abandon anyone (still love and appreciate you guys) but things have been crazy in my life recently (and not so recently), and I just haven’t had the time or energy to get back into the swing of things here.

Lots of problems lately. Problems with insurance, relatives sick (cancer), family friends dead, brothers in dept and going to be a father next month (how he’s going to pay for everything I have no idea); after dealing with all this crap art seems insignificant. I realize (believe me) that it’s not, but nonetheless, all this time I’ve had bigger things to worry about. Now, yes, these are excuses, but they are also true, and if you want to think it’s bullshit then go ahead, but that’s what you’re getting, like it or not. Hopefully I’ll be back now on a much more (maybe weekly basis, maybe every two or three days, we’ll see) regular basis, but as I said, I’m going to TRY, no promises; but I’ll try to stop by, comment, and generally be a better DA friend.

Now, that being said, if you ARE reading this and something big (maybe you started college, finished college, got a great job, got married, had kids, decided that GoW is the best game ever, whatever) has happened since the last time I talked to you, I’d welcome any news you could give me so I can catch up. It’s not that I don’t love you, but I don’t have the time to go through and read eight months of journals for 17 people. I don’t expect an essay, or even a few paragraphs (well, not unless you want to write a few paragraphs, I’ll try to read it XD); but if there’s something you’d like me to know, feel free to pass the knowledge on.
